Bake That Pie is a collaboration with our friends over at the Buffalo Barrel Project! We came up with a blend of selected barrel aged beer that we then re-fermented on over 5# per gallon of peaches, apricots and vanilla. This beer is has big, bright stone fruit character with a round, subtle, vanilla finish. The vanilla in this beer adds a mouthfeel that reminds me of eating SweeTarts or Smarties candy… Almost a smooth, chalky kind of thing (in the best way possible)!
