Whitman Brewing Company is a family-run craft brewery in Saratoga Springs, set in a former newspaper building and named for poet Walt Whitman. They brew every beer on site on a 10-barrel system and call themselves purists, with no priming sugar. Carbonation and ABV come from balancing the ingredients. Their labels borrow characters from literature. Drinkers have noticed: Whitman has earned Gold and Bronze at the Untappd Community Awards, which are voted on by beer fans.
